Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell (nee Robertson born on 27 March 1970, height 5'9 is a American actor who is famous for her character in the role of The Dr. Juliet Burke on ABC's show Lost and as FBI Agent Erica Evans on V. Joseph Day Mitchell is her stepfather. Josephine Marian Mitchell (nee Jenkins), her mother are both lawyers from Dallas. Mitchell along with her mother moved to Dallas Texas, where she married Joseph Mitchell. Mitchell was an undergraduate at Booker T. Washington High School in Dallas, TX. It is a public Magnet School. Mitchell is the older sister of three siblings, along with Kristina Kristie Mitchell, and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. In 1991, she graduated from Stephens College with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in acting and also studying at the British American Drama Academy.Mitchell worked for a period of six years at Dallas Theater Center and a time in the Encore Theater.
