Antonia Lofaso
Antonia's food provides a way to explore her life. Her interest in food after moving from the suburbs of Long Island to the diverse cultures of Los Angeles. Carnitas, Cavatelli and other dishes can all coexist within a menu. This is a constantly changing sensibility. With every dish she serves her vision that is distinct and speaks to an ache for the past. Scopa Italian Roots is a restaurant which was established by Lofaso in the year 2013. It was founded by the chef because of her American-born Italian heritage. Lofaso's interpretation of traditional Italian has been acclaimed for being among the most compelling eateries for Italian cuisine located in Los Angeles. The restaurant is frequently praised by Scopa's patrons for serving food that feels authentic and unmistakably pleasing. Lofaso took her cues from the greats of culinary who used sophisticated techniques. But, she didn't hesitate to take extreme risk to follow her own instincts. She quickly rose through the ranks at Wolfgang Puck's Spago and then went on to make a difference in the kitchens of famous chefs located in Los Angeles while working closely with many high-profile celebrities. Lofaso worked with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar, an upscale bar located in Studio City. Her home was in Black Market Liquor Bar and her business partnerships. Lofaso could find the space to be creative that she desired through this collaboration. Black Market has no one idea in its head and is the same way. It could begin with chips of dill potato and shishito chili peppers. Then it's the lobster roll Korean wings and a variety of meatballs. Antonia is the linchpin of this dazzling array. Lofaso evaluated her career success in part by her ability to understand and remain authentic to her audiences. Famous appearances on Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars showcased her unique personality in the kitchen. The talents of Lofaso are evident in her recurring roles as a CNBC's Restaurant Startup judge and on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso teamed-up together with Penguin Publishing to publish The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 Recipes for easy, Delicious, Home Cooked Meals. In the book, she also discusses her experience as a mother and a student of The French Culinary Institute. Lofaso insists that the drive behind all of her accomplishments is rooted in the kitchen, and it's in this way that she continues to have an eye on the pulse. With her Chefletics brand, she's altering the appearance of her industry by re-designing chefwear for both style and function. Lofaso wants to be true to her vision and customers. She's created Antonia Lofaso Catering to help to achieve this.
