Jana Kramer bio

Jana Kramer became famous on television, where she played Alex in the One Tree Hill series' final three years. Jana Kramer's debut country album were featured on One Tree Hill's episodes, helping to propel her debut album from 2012 into the top 20 of the Billboard 200. The follow-up Thirty One in 2015 Thirty One reached the Top Ten. The decade ended with her appearances on Dancing with the Stars, Television films, and other singles not from the album. In 2021, her self-doubting album Voices came out. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native that was raised on country music. While she was pursuing the acting and recording professions but her first screen appearance came in the independent horror film Dead/Undead (2002) in the midst of being in high school. In the past, she appeared on several series, including All My Children and CSI: NY before landing the part of Noelle Davenport in NBC's Friday Night Lights the 2nd season (2007-2008). Kramer next appeared in 90210 as Portia Randson from 2008-2009, and as Brooke Manning for Entourage 2009. In 2009 she joined One Tree Hill's cast in the role of Alex Dupre. Kramer remained in the character until about midway through the last season One Tree Hill. Jana Kramer During her run on the show Kramer was signed to a contract as a singer to Elektra Records and debuted the contemporary country love song I Won't Stop on a 2011 episode on One Tree Hill. It was later featured on her full-length debut Jana Kramer in mid-2012. Billboard Top Country Albums ranked the track in the Top Five. Focusing on her music career following that, and not resigning from acting she was a part of films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would draw the attention of her fans. Kramer's second album, Thirty One was released through Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. I Got the Boy (a Top Five country single) and Steven Tyler's duet on Aerosmith made the album achieve even greater success and landed at the third place at the top of the Billboard 200. In September 2016, her time on the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars lasted 2 months, and she finished in a fourth place finish. That year she also had an adult contemporary hit featuring Feels Like Christmas featuring Straight No Chaser.
